How many verification badges can I earn in PriveTalk?

There are 3 distinct verification badges you can earn in PriveTalk:

  • Profile Picture Verification: Verify that your profile picture is real.
  • Social Media Account Verification: Connect your social media account.
  • Royal User Verification: Verify your account by becoming a Royal User

Each verification gives individual benefits to our users, as well as collective benefits: The higher the number of verifications you have, the higher your ranking will be on our community list, giving you more exposure, more profile visitors, more interaction, and eventually more chances to meet with someone nice.

Why to earn the verification badges? How to use them?

Each verification badge has distinct benefits to our users, and all of them collectively give additional benefits:

Unique Benefits:

  • Profile Picture Verification: Verify that your profile picture is real by following the in-screen instructions. Once you unlock this verification you can start chatting with other members for free.
  • Social Media Account Verification: Verify that you have a social media account and use it find common friends and activities with other members, making it easier for you to start an engaging discussion.
  • Royal User Verification: Verify your account by becoming a subscriber and earn higher exposure, priority messages and VIP privileges, increasing your chances for interacting with other users.

Collective Benefits (benefits that occur by having a higher number of verification badges):

  • The higher the number of verification you have, our algorithm will push your profile rank higher on our community rankings, giving you more exposure, more profile visitors, more interaction, and eventually more chances to meet with someone.
  • Our users trust more and interact more often with users who have a higher number of verifications than others, making it for you more likely to get a response and have a better quality of communication by having more verifications. That is happening since more verification badges often indicate a more trustworthy person, according to our user surveys.

Profile Picture Verification


Why do I have to verify my Profile Picture before starting to chat?

One of the biggest problems in online dating are scammers, who use fake profile pictures. However, It is a crucial factor for good online communication to know how the person that you chat with really looks like, or how can you start trusting someone otherwise?

Unlike many other dating apps, in PriveTalk we don’t ask you to pay anything to be able to chat with other users. However, we do ask you to verify your profile picture before chatting for free, using our fast and easy verification method.

It is our mission to have a healthy, active and honest community of people that use PriveTalk, and on that basis, we require that all of our users show the mutual trust to put a real profile picture of themselves before interacting. That way, we ensure a high quality standard of our community, and that is something that all honest users should appreciate. We encourage you to show who you really are and that way you can expect to see how others really are as well.

Who can see the pictures that I take to verify my profile picture?

PriveTalk users’ will NOT be able to see the pictures of you that are taken live (always with your own permission) for the purpose of verifying your profile picture.

Instead, those verification purpose pictures will be seen by the PriveTalk moderating team to help us verify your profile picture.  Our team will check if the person in the uploaded profile picture is the same with the one showing on the live verification purpose pictures.

Therefore, you don’t have to worry if your hair is straight or if you just woke up and look tired, because no one among PriveTalk users will be able to see your verification photo. What our users will see instead is your new uploaded profile picture, so just upload your nicest one, verify securely this photo with us, and enjoy chatting.

What do I get by verifying my profile picture?

By verifying your profile picture, you get the following benefits:

  • Earn more credibility and interaction from other users
  • Earn a verification badge that will reward you with higher search ranking status on the Community

The verification process is completely free and is strongly recommended to all of our users. It creates a mutual trust among our users before engaging in chatting, by allowing them to see the real looks of the person that they are speaking to.

How long does it take to get my profile picture verified after submitting my request?

It usually takes less than 30 minutes to get your profile picture verified and be able to chat with our users for free.

On extra-ordinary circumstances, receiving your verification might take a little longer. However, if more than 2 hours passes and you still didn’t get a response from us, please contact our Customer Service Team by clicking on the “about” section found in the bottom right corner of the main application menu, and then tap the “contact us” button.

Why did by profile picture verification got rejected? How many chances do I have?

In PriveTalk, we have a dedicated team that is looking each profile picture verification request very carefully, and with high standard procedures.

If your profile picture verification got rejected it could be attributed to either a problem with the profile picture that you uploaded or with the live verification purpose pictures that you took to verify that photo.

Possible issues related to your Profile Picture:

  • Your facial characteristics are not clearly visible (such as by wearing sunglasses, big hats, scarfs, closing your eyes, having your face turned away or being too far away from the camera, or using other facial decorations/filters that significantly hide your face)
  • Your Profile Picture is not displaying clearly yourself but is instead showing a landscape, animal, or any other content that is not a person.
  • Your Profile picture is displaying inappropriate content such as partial of full nudity, very provocative clothing, clothing that may be associated with organizations or religious groups, clothing that conveys religious or political messages. Please review our Terms & Conditions for more information on prohibited content.

Possible issues related to your Verification Purpose Pictures:

  • Your facial characteristics are not clearly visible (such as by wearing sunglasses, big hats, scarfs, closing your eyes, having your face turned away or being too far away from the camera, or using other facial decorations/filters that significantly hide your face)
  • Your face didn’t match the facial guidelines as instructed in the verification process.

In case of rejection of your verification, you would be notified by our system and you will require to repeat the process, until you meet our requirements, as indicated above. In case of consistent failure to reach our requirements, or in case that you show offensive/inappropriate content to us, or provide any content that is against our Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to permanently reject your verification requests or/and even terminate your PriveTalk account.

Profile Picture Verification Instructions

To verify your profile picture, you have to either click the “Verify” button shown at the bottom of your profile picture or to click the 3 checkmarks symbols found at the right side of your profile circle while viewing your personal profile, and then by clicking the “Verify” button next to the text “profile picture”. Afterwards, you simply have to follow the in-screen instructions.

The in-screen instructions, are the following:

Step 1

  • Match the face outlines
  • Tap the camera icon

Step 2

  • Turn your face to the left
  • Wait for the click sound

Step 3

  • Turn your face to the right
  • Wait for the click sound

Step 4

  • Review and Submit *

To begin the verification, you have to match your face with the suggested outlines and tap the camera button. Then you need to keep holding your phone as it is straight and just turn your head to the left and stay like that until you hear the camera click sound again. Last, you need to still hold your phone as it straight and this time turn your head to the right. That’s it! Please review the photos, and if you think that they are fairly accurate, submit them to us for reviewing.

*Please note that the verification photos will NOT be seen by any other PriveTalk user. Those photos are for verification purposes, and thus will be seen by our moderating team. What PriveTalk user’s will see is just your profile picture that you uploaded from your phone.

 


Social Media Verification


How does PriveTalk use my social media account permissions?

When you integrate PriveTalk with your social amount you allow us to get access to certain information that can enhance your online dating experience with us. We may use that information to speed up your registration or reduce your sign in time in PriveTalk, or to help you identify common friends you have with other PriveTalk users. For a complete list of how certain information of yours is used please view our Privacy Policy Statement.

Please note that PriveTalk does NOT post anything on your social media account such as Facebook, Google Plus or Vkontakte without your explicit permission. You have the option to share our app download page if you want, but it has to be your decision and not ours.  Even though you may share our app at any time by clicking the “share” button at the bottom of your notification bar, you are not given an option, and you are not being allowed to share any PriveTalk user’s profile or personal data. Please consult our Agreement and out Terms & Conditions about for more information about the subject.

What do I get by verifying my social media account?

Integrating your social media account in PriveTalk is optional.  However, by doing so, you can enjoy the following benefits:

  • Create and fill faster your PriveTalk profile (since we draw certain information from your social media profile)
  • Log in faster without the requirement to create/type a new password
  • Find common friends you have with other PriveTalk users
  • Earn a verification badge that will reward you with higher ranking status

Will PriveTalk post anything on my behalf on Facebook / Google Plus / VKontakte?

No, PriveTalk is committed to never post anything without your permission on your social media account. However, you could share PriveTalk among your friends, anytime you want, but only if you wish to. To share us click the “share” button at the bottom of your notification bar Royal User Verification.

However, you are not given an option, and you are not being allowed to share any PriveTalk user’s profile or personal data. Please consult our Agreement and out Terms & Conditions about for more information about the subject.


Royal User Verification / PriveTalk Subscriptions


How to earn my Royal User Verification? / How to purchase a subscription?

To get your Royal User verification you simply have to be an active subscriber of our services. There are many ways to become a subscriber in PriveTalk, but one of the easiest is to click “Be a Royal User” at the main menu bar, and follow the instructions.

What are the subscription benefits? / Why to become a Royal User?

While being a Royal User, you enjoy the following benefits:

There are different subscription packages available, with longer subscriptions rewarding our users with a significant monthly discount. To see the different subscription packages and their corresponded discounts simply go to the “Be a Royal User” menu, tap the “Activate Now” button and select the package that is more appropriate for you.

For How long my Royal User Verification / subscription lasts?

Your Royal User Verification lasts for as long as you have an active subscription of our services. The time that your membership is active depends on the Royal User package you chose to purchase, that is activated immediately once your payment is received. Immediately after receiving your payment, PriveTalk will activate your verification badge and all the benefits that come with your Royal User subscription. As soon as your subscription expires, your corresponding verification badge will be removed from you, along with all the benefits that come with it.

Which subscription to choose? / Pricing

We offer 4 different subscription packages to you:

Our 12-month subscription plan offers to you up to 50% discount on your monthly price as compared to the 1-month subscription plan. To view the pricing for each plan, please go to the “Be a Royal User” found in the main app menu, and then tap “Activate Now”.

How do I change payment information?

If you are subscribed to PriveTalk and would like to change your payment information, please follow those instructions:

  • If you subscribed to PriveTalk using your Apple ID, go to your phone’s Settings, tap iTunes & App Store, tap your Apple ID and select “view Apple ID”, select “payment information”, update your payment information. and tap “done”.
  • If you subscribed to PriveTalk using your Google Play Store account, open the Google Play Store, touch the Menu icon and select “my account,” tap “add payment method” or “edit payment method.” If prompted, sign in to Google Wallet and follow the on-screen instructions.

My payment method failed.

Please make sure that you’ve entered your payment information accurately and try again Some common problems for declined cards are the following:

  • The name on the card must match the name used in iTunes/Google Play card description
  • The card number must match
  • The expiration date must match
  • The CCV code must match
  • The address must match the card’s billing address
  • The card must still be valid and have sufficient funds
  • The card used is an accepted payment method by your app store.

Please note that accepted payment methods for both iOS and Android only include credit and debit card at this time. For a list of accepted credit and debit cards and for more details on payment issues, please refer to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store customer help services.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your PriveTalk subscription at any time.

To cancel your subscription on your iPhone directly:

  1. Go to the App Store on your iOS device.
  2. Scroll to the bottom.
  3. Tap Apple ID (your Apple ID email)
  4. Tap View Apple ID.
  5. Log in if it asks you to.
  6. Scroll down to Subscriptions and tap Manage.
  7. Select PriveTalk and set the auto-renewal slider to Off or select Unsubscribe.

If the option to turn off auto-renewal is not displayed here, you may have already chosen to turn it off, cancelling future charges. If that’s the case, you should be able to see the end date of your subscription on this screen.

To cancel your subscription on your Android device directly:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Search for PriveTalk and select PriveTalk in your search results.
  3. Select Cancel or Unsubscribe.
  4. Confirm.

Note: After cancelling your subscription, you will be able to use PriveTalk for the remaining of the days that you have already paid for. When your subscription expires, it will not be renewed. You can opt back in at any time. Cancelling your subscription will not retroactively refund subscription payments, and previously charged subscription fees cannot be prorated based on cancellation date. Deleting the app and/or your account does not cancel your subscription.

How do I request a refund?

If you subscribed to PriveTalk using your Apple ID, refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. If you wish to request a refund, go to iTunes, click on your Apple ID, select “Purchase history”, find the transaction and hit “Report Problem”. You can also submit a request at https://getsupport.apple.com

If you subscribed to PriveTalk using your Google Play Store account: please send an email to support@privetalk.com  with the following information: Full name, account email, the date of activating your subscription, the order number, and the reason for requesting the refund. You can find the order number in the order confirmation email or by logging in to your Google Wallet.

Please have in mind that as stated in our Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to give or not to give any form of refund, depending on the conditions of your refund request. Please consult the section 2.17 of our Terms and Conditions for more information about our paid services.

How to Use PT Coins?

You may use PriveTalk Coins (PT Coins), in the following ways:

PT Coins are a crucial part of your online dating experience since they allow you to advertise yourself to more users, impress people by offering them virtual gifts or to chat with more users in your area.

You have the option to promote yourself via our Promotion Bar several times every day, thus allowing you to get more impressions and more chances for interaction.

How to get PT Coins?

There are two Available ways to get PT Coins:

  • Free PT Coins: You may earn them weekly based on your Personality & Behaviour Performance as indicated by your Weekly Rewards.
  • Purchase PT Coins: You may purchase PT coins at any time, with the option to get a discount by choosing a larger coin package. Additionally, you may add extra PT coins to your purchase for free, by redeeming your Weekly Purchase Bonus, as indicated your last week’s Weekly Rewards performance.

There are various ways for you purchase PT coins, but the easier one is to go to our Main Menu and select “Add PT Coins” and follow the instructions.

Which are the Weekly Rewards Tasks / How to earn my Weekly Rewards?

There are 5 Weekly Rewards Tasks the each gives free PT coins and a bonus percentage on PT coin purchases. Those rewards can be seen at the very end of your PriveTalk profile page.

The Weekly Rewards Tasks are the following:

  • Popular – Shows have many people have visited your profile within a week
  • Friendly – Calculates the percentage of the messages you give a reply compared to the total number of messages that you receive.
  • Ice Breaker – Shows how many messages you have personally send to other users, to initiate a conversation.
  • Impression Voter – Shows how many votes you have cast to rate your impression for another user when speaking via our private chat communication. Note that you can only cast a vote after exchanging 10 text messages with the user that you want to rate.
  • Angel – Shows how many times you have received a positive impression from another user. Note that all notes cast or received are always anonymous.

Each Weekly Reward Task will give you both Free PT Coins & a Purchase Bonus on PT coins by the end of each week. What determines how high those Rewards will be, is your own weekly performance upon completing the 5 different tasks.

How to use/redeem the Weekly Rewards?

Weekly rewards can give you the following:

  • Free PT coins that you earn automatically by the end of each week you are using PriveTalk
  • Purchase bonus that allows you to earn a bonus percentage added on the purchase of a PT coin package.

Both the Free PT coins and the Purchase bonus are based on your last Week’s Weekly Rewards Performance and will be given to you on the following Monday, however the exact time that you will receive your rewards, varies depending on the time zone.

The Free PT coins are added automatically to your PT Coin Balance each Monday. As soon as your Free PT Coins are available, you will receive a push notification from PriveTalk, and by the next time you launch our app, the coins will be automatically transferred in your account.

The purchase bonus allows you to redeem a bonus percentage on the purchase of a PT coin package. Your newest purchase bonus is available on each Monday, along with the news Free PT Coins. While the Free PT coins are redeemed automatically, to redeem you Purchase bonus you have to proceed to a purchase of any PT coin package available in our application before the offer expires. If you don’t redeem your last week’s purchase bonus within 7 days since it was unlocked, the bonus will reset automatically and be replaced with the newest one.

To view how many Free PT coins and Purchase bonus you are entitled for based on your current week’s performance, just go to the bottom of your profile page, and find your current Free Coins & Purchase Bonus under the text “This Week”.  Those rewards, or even more will be available to you by next Monday.

What is the time period that the Weekly Rewards are counted?

Weekly rewards, as the name suggest, are earned on a 7-day basis. However, the timer that counts the weekly rewards starts as soon as the user registers his profile on PriveTalk.

Therefore, the user should not expect that the Weekly Rewards must reset every Monday, but instead that the time that the rewards reset depends on when he created his account.

Why I can’t use the rewards I earned this week?

Each week you can use the Rewards you have earned by using PriveTalk the week before. Therefore, your last week’s bonus is the one you can use right now.

The free PT Coins you have earned from previous week are automatically added to your account while the purchase bonus you have earned from previous week has to be redeem within a week by purchasing a PT coin package. If you don’t use your purchase bonus within a week, it will be replaced with the newest one

How are my Weekly Rewards Calculated?

Each Weekly Reward Task has three stages of completeness (benchmarks). Upon reaching a certain benchmark, you unlock the specified rewards that are both Free PT Coins and a Purchase Bonus and that can be used when your active week ends.

For example: Joe while using PriveTalk for the previous week, had 24 people visiting his profile. As you see in the following table since he has passed the 20 visitors requirement, he reached and surpassed benchmark 3 and thus he is has earned 20 free PT Coins this week and an additional 8% purchase bonus added his total that he may redeem anytime during this week.

            Joe’s Stage (24 Visitors) 

Joe’s 8% Purchase bonus from this weekly reward task will be added to the purchase bonuses of the 4 other available weekly rewards tasks, and all together will show at the bottom of his profile page, as hit total Purchase Bonus.  If we assume that all 4 other reward tasks were at benchmark 3 (the highest benchmark) the Joe would have earned a 40% Purchase Bonus on any PT Coin package he chooses to purchase, that will be available for up to 1 week before expiring and being replaced with.

 


No Screenshot Allowed


Why there is a need to block screenshots?

In PriveTalk we follow an against-screenshot policy, complementary to our expiring messages feature, in order to enhance the privacy and safety of your personal information and communication with other users.

By prohibiting screenshots, you know that not only the messages you exchange have a limited time before they expire, but that is also more difficult for other users to capture/store those messages permanently before they do expire. Therefore, by applying both measures, we better enhance the security of the temporary state of your exchanged communication.

Also, it not uncommon for users of other dating app to share and try to shame users by showing their profile’s in social media sites or anywhere else. Even though PriveTalk is a serious dating app, and therefore it is nothing for our users to be ashamed off, we don’t accept our users’ profiles being shared or discussed outside our app. We just like things more private, and by applying our against screenshots measures we make less likely the possibility of someone sharing your profile/data/or messages with others.

Which measures does PriveTalk take against taking screenshots?

The general policy of PriveTalk, is to be against in-app screenshots in any screen of our app, and we enforce it in different way, depending on the permission each mobile operating system provides to us.

On the Android version of PriveTalk, we apply a screenshots blocking technology, that is designed to completely block any android phone from taking screenshots of our app screens. Additionally to this technology, we provide custom, personal moderation for any violations of our policy. In the unlikely scenario that a user manages without our permission to capture screenshots of our app, we have the right to investigate and ban permanently this user, or even pursue legal charges against the user for violating our contractual Agreement.

On the iOS version of PriveTalk, we apply our screenshots reporting technology and moderation. Since the iOS doesn’t grant permissions to completely block screenshots via its operating system, we have developed a technology that whenever a screenshot is taken (despite that being forbidden in our Agreement with PriveTalk users) there are several automatic reports to: a) our user who’s profile data/information have been captured by a screenshot, b) our moderating team which will investigate the violation and c) to the violating user, informing him about his violation.

Our moderating team has the right to investigate and ban permanently users who take screenshots, or even pursue legal charges against them for violating our contractual Agreement.

What happens if a user does manage to capture a screenshot of my personal data?

As with every technology and security system, PriveTalk’s security measures may have weakness too. Even though we utilize a number technologies and human moderation to prevent your content from being illegally shared by other users, and even though we are one of the few online dating apps who are actually openly against the sharing of our user’s profiles and other personal information, there could be users who will succeed bypassing/violating our measures/technologies/features. Therefore, we advise that our users should also take care with how they handle and disclose their personal information, and how the engage in their personal communication with other users. Please read our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy statements for more information and advice regarding the subject.

As a company, we have the right and the technology to identify, ban or even legally charge any user who takes screenshots within our app, or uses, captures, manipulates, stores or distributes any personal content of our users in any possible manner. We commit to do what is possible to protect our users from scammers and other violators, but you must not forget that as stated in our Agreement, we are not responsible to you, if any user manages to distribute your personal data, despite our efforts.

 


Self – Expiring Messages


How Self-Expiring Timers work?

In PriveTalk, all messages, text or images, are all expiring/vanishing from our users’ phones after a pre-set amount of time. The expiration timer always starts counting from the moment that the receiving user opens the message. However, the timer for each message can be set only by the sender. In other words, each user can have control on his/her own messages, but not for others.

The maximum self-expiration timer that is set by default for all users is 7 days.

For our Royal Users, the self-expire timer can be manually changed to be as little as 3 seconds, counting from the moment that the message is opened.

The remaining amount of time left for each message is displayed on the bottom right corner of the message bubble. When the timer reaches zero, the message will automatically disappear from both the sender’s and the receiver’s phones.

Why there is a need to have Self -Expiring Messages?

Self-expiring messages have great significance, since they give to our users’ more freedom to express themselves with less worries, reducing the possibility that someone may use or distribute their communication without authorization. This feature becomes even more important and even more secure, by being combined with our against-screenshots measures.  Our goal is to prevent or deter scammers from the desire to capture/store/manipulate/share your data and keep your PriveTalk experience joyful and safe.

However, despite our best efforts, no system is totally secure, so therefore please be always cautious with what you share with strangers. Our Dating Safety Guide and our Terms & Conditions can help you by giving more information and advices on the subject.

How to Change the Time of Expiration for My Messages?

To change your self-expiring timer, you simply have to click on the message option’s icon at the left bottom corner of each personal communication you have with another user, and then use the scroll bar that appears to set the desired duration of your message.

What Happens After My Messages Expire?

Each exchanged text/picture has a standard 7-day expiration timer that gets activated once the receiving user opens the new message. Once the message expires it’s deleted from both the receiver’s and the sender’s phones almost simultaneously.

Despite being set by default at 7 days’ expiration, the timer can be changed upon having an active subscription to be as little as 3 seconds or more.

Therefore, the exchanged information may thus expire in less than 7 days from our users’ phones, but still our company may keep records up to 7 days of all the exchanged communication for safety and moderating reasons. Promotion Bar


What is the Promotion Bar?

The Promotion Bar is an auto-scrolling bar that displays the promoted PriveTalk profiles. Promoted profiles get shown instantly to relevant users around your area, increasing the chances for getting profile visitors and making you more popular.

Where to find the Promotion Bar?

The Promotion Bar can be found at the top of the following screens:  Community, Messages, Profile Visitors, Favourites, Hot Wheel, Flames Ignited, Hot Matches.

How to use the Promotion Bar?

To promote your profile, you simply have to tap the “Add me” button to the left side of the Promotion Bar, then select the picture of you that you like the best, and then tap promote.

You will notice that there is an estimated number of how many people around your area will get to see your promoted picture. The system will optimize the right area that your promotion will be displayed, giving you more chances to get relevant profile visitors.

Promoting your profile on the Promotion Bar costs 100 PT coins

I promoted my profile but can’t see my picture on the Promotion Bar. Is it a bug?

The promotion bar always displays people that match your sexual preferences. Therefore, each time you promote your picture it gets shown only to relevant people in your area. If your sexual preferences are set to straight you will not be able to see your promoted picture on your own Promotion Bar, but only people from the other sex will be able to see that picture on their Promotion Bar.  By doing that we make sure that your PT coins are well spend to people  that really interest you, and to people who are irrelevant to you.

To see an estimate of how many people will see your promoted picture at least once just look at the text written next to the “Promote” Button, as found in the Boost Your Popularity Screen, that can be access by tapping the “Add me” Button that is displayed on the Promotion Bar.

My Profile

Your Profile is what other users usually view before starting a conversation, so a good first impression is important.

Profile Circle

The big circle that you see as soon as you log in your profile is the Profile Circle. The picture in the Profile Circle is your profile picture. If there is no profile picture yet, a message will encourage you to upload one and verify it, in an easy and free process. Once you earn your profile picture verification badge, you will be granted the option to send free message to other PriveTalk’s users.

Verification Badge Menu

To the right side of your profile circle, there is the verification badge menu. From there you may activate all three available verifications for PriveTalk users. Bear in mind that users with complete profiles can make a better impression than others, especially those who have all three verifications badges. To earn a verification badge you have to click at the verification badge menu, and select which of the verification you wish to earn, by following the in-screen instructions. Weekly Reward Meter and Weekly Reward Menu

To the left side of the profile circle, there is the Reward Meter that indicates the level of completion of your individual Weekly Rewards. Clicking the Reward Meter will take you directly to the Weekly Rewards that are located at the bottom of your profile page. Those rewards are based on your usage and behaviour when using PriveTalk, and are designed to benefit our active and well-behaved users by giving them free PT Coins and PT coins purchase bonuses that can be used to promote one’s profile to more users, as well as purchasing additional items in the application, such as giving virtual gifts to other users, or extending your daily chat limit by an additional 20 new chats.

Profile Eye Icon

To the top left corner of your profile page there’s an eye icon The standard setting is for the eye icon to be green, meaning that your profile is visible to other users that search in the Community results, or when they play the Hot Wheel Match game. If you wish to disable the visibility of your profile on those sections, then you have to activate your Royal User status. Please note that the same options can be found in the “Settings” menu, under the category “Privacy Settings”.

On your Settings Menu there are the following main categories of settings:

Privacy Settings

On PriveTalk’s privacy settings you have the following switches:

  • Show Distance – This switch allows you to share or not to share he distance that separates you from other PriveTalk users who view your Profile Circle. However, this option works the other way around too, meaning that if turn it off, you will not be able to see the distance between you and other users. By default, this switch is on.
  • Show Weekly Rewards – This switch allows you to share or not share your current Weekly Reward statistics when a PriveTalk user views your profile. Similarly to the Show Distance switch, it works the other way around too, meaning that if you turn it off, you will not be able to see the Weekly Rewards statistics achieved by another user. By default, this switch is on.
  • Show Online Status – This switch allows you to share or not share your online status, with other PriveTalk users. If the switch is set off, you can show always offline, even if you are currently online. Setting your online status off does not affect how you see the online status of other users. This switch, is only available to our Royal Users and, by default is set on.
  • Hide from Community – This switch allows you to hide your presence from the Community (the section of PriveTalk where profiles are displayed based on your preferences). If the switch is set on, you can stay hidden from people browsing the Community. By using this option, you can take more control of who can see you and get in touch with you, while avoiding to be seen by people that you don’t want to interact with. However, when you choose to interact with a user (hotlike, favourite, message, visit profile) you will still be visible. This switch, is only available to our Royal Users and, by default is set off.
  • Hide from Hot Wheel – This switch allows you to hide your presence from the Hot Wheel match game and its related sections (Hot matches & Flames Initiated). If the switch is set on, you can stay hidden from people swiping on the Hot Wheel. By using this option, in combination with the “Hide from Community” option, you can take more control of who can see you and get in touch with you, while avoiding to be seen by people that you don’t want to interact with. However, when you choose to interact with a user (hotlike, favourite, message, visit profile) you will still be visible. This switch, is only available to our Royal Users and, by default is set off.

Notification Settings

Notification Settings allow you to choose how you wish to be notified by PriveTalk on different events such as when receiving a message, when having a new profile visitor etc. You may receive notifications via email, via mobile notifications (push notifications) or by both. You may also choose to disable receiving all forms of notifications, a setting that is not however recommended since it may negatively affect your interaction with other users and your overall PriveTalk experience.

Account Settings

On the Account Settings, you can find the option to deactivate your account, or to delete permanently your account.

If you deactivate your account, your profile and account will not be viewable by other members of the Services of PriveTalk. If you do not reactivate your account within 60 days, your account will be terminated.

If you directly terminate your account, there is no way for you to retrieve it back.

By deactivating your account, or by having your account terminated, any previous purchase of services within the app, or any unlocked function or any right on free or purchased service within the app becomes invalid. All PT coins (PriveTalk Coins) that you have earned for free or purchased may reset to zero, and any subscription that was purchased may become invalid, even if it was active at the time of the deactivation/termination. The company has no obligation to redeem or compensate you for any free or paid service that you may have lost, upon choosing to de-activate/terminate your account, or upon having your account terminated by us.

Personal Info

Personal info is the space where a user can fill some of his personal information. It is not mandatory for our users to fill in this information, however, users who have this section complete have more chances to be found by others, since by filling their personal information they can be additionally listed in our search filter results. Also, complete profiles tend to give a more trustworthy impression of the person that that is portrayed.

Interests

The interest section can be divided in the following subcategories: Activities, Music, Movies, Literature, and Places. Since our algorithm compares and matches your interests with other users’ interests, it is recommended that this list is filled in detail and as accurately as possible.

When you view another user’s profile, you will notice that any common interests between that two of you are displayed first, and in bold font. Non matching interests are displayed in regular font.

Community

Ranking User Profiles in the Community

The Community is where you can find a short preview of PriveTalk users’ profiles. By default, the system is determining the ranking the profiles are displayed based on various factors such as the number of verifications a user has, the personality rating factors occurring from the weekly rewards and the anonymous impressions voting, and how relevant this user may be to you.

The idea behind the ranking system of the user profiles is to present to you those who might be our best users in front of anybody else, giving more quality to your dating search experience.

Community Profile Preview

Each user profile preview is shown with the profile circle. At the top right side of the circle you can a small dot, that if its green it means that the displayed user is online, and if it’s white that the user is offline. At the bottom of the circle the crown icon indicates if the user is a Royal User, the number of green check marks indicate how many PriveTalk verifications the user has acquired and the displayed number indicates the self-declared age of the user.

Search Filters

At the left bottom side of the Community Screen, you will the option to apply customized search filters to the displayed profiles, making your search more selective. Basic filters such as selecting the age range, location, and sex of the people around you are available to all of our users, while more advanced search filters are only available to our Royal Users.

Promotion Bar

At the top of the Community, (as well as at the top of the Messages, Profile Visitors, Favourites, Hot Wheel, Flames Ignited, Hot Matches) there is a scrollable bar, showing PriveTalk’s promoted profiles. Promoted profiles get shown instantly in users around your area, increasing the chances for getting profile visitors and making you more popular.

Profile Visitors

Profile Visitors is a premium user section of PriveTalk where you can find a list of the people who visited your profile, sorted by the most recent visit.

For normal users, all visitors are blurred, and can’t be tapped to view any further details.

For Royal Users, all profile visitors are visible and when tapped the corresponded profile can be viewed instantly.

Favourites

Favourites is the section of PriveTalk where there is a list of the people you have favourited, displayed first, and additionally a list of the people that have added you as a favourite, that is only available to our Royal Users.

You can favourite a user by clicking the star icon, when viewing his/her profile, just below the user’s Profile Circle.  That will allow you to easily find again this user any time you want, without having to browse through the numerous profiles found in the Community Section.

To unfavourite a user, you just have to click again on the star icon. An active favourite icon has a yellow colour while an inactive one has a blue colour.

Hot Wheel

Hot Wheel is PriveTalk’s matching game on which you can see profile pictures of people around your area and vote if you find them attractive or not. If you don’t find a user attractive, your vote will be completely anonymous. If you do however both find the other attractive, then you will get a Hot Match and may initiate a chat from there.

While using the Hot Wheel, to vote that a specific user is Hot you just have to swipe up, or to skip voting you just have to swipe down. Swiping left and right allows you navigate through the user’s uploaded photos, so you can have a better idea of how she/he looks. By tapping on a specific picture, you can view it in full screen mode, and by tapping it again you can return to the standard Hot Wheel view mode.

For our Royal Users, we give them an additional benefit for using the Hot Wheel: Whenever a user votes that you are Hot, you can you view that user and vote back directly by going in the Flames Received section. That will make getting a Hot Match a much easier and fast process, than relying on luck like normal users have to.

Flames Received

Flames Received is a premium user section, available only to our Royal Users. In this section you can see the people who voted that you are Hot on the Hot Wheel. You can then directly vote those people back, and if your vote is also the same, then you get an immediate Hot Match!

Flames Received is designed to eliminate the waiting and the factor of luck for you to match with someone which there is a mutual attraction. If you don’t think that the user who liked you is also hot, then your vote will be completely anonymous to the other user. If your vote is also hot, the other person will know immediately about by getting a notification for a Hot Mach.

Hot Matches

Hot Matches is the section where you can see all users that you who have a mutual attraction based on your positive votes cast on the Hot Wheel. If the both users vote each other as Hot, then there’s a Hot Match, allowing you to view the matched user’s profile, and interact directly with her/him. The Hot Match section, as also the Hot Wheel section are both available to all of our users, subscribers or not.

Be a Royal User

The “Be a Royal User” section informs you for the benefits you can get by becoming a subscriber of our premium services. Specifically, a Royal User will enjoy the following for the time period that her/his subscription is active:

  • See Everything

Get to see your Profile Visitors, Who Favorited You & who said you’re hot on Flames Ignited.

  • Set Expiration Timers

Choose for how long your text and images are to be shared (from 3 seconds up to 7 days).

  • Priority Messages

Your messages have more chances to be read first and get responded, by appearing above normal users.

  • Talk First to New Users

Be able to talk to new users from the moment they sign up by eliminating waiting times.

  • Advanced Custom Search

Set custom search preferences including height, zodiac, colour of eyes, education level, languages spoken etc.

  • Hidden Mode

Be anonymous with option to hide from Public Search(Community), hide from the Hot Wheel © & set your online status off.

There are different subscription packages available, with longer subscriptions rewarding our users with a significant monthly discount. To see the different subscription packages and their corresponded discounts simply click the “Activate Now” button and select the package that is more appropriate for you.

The “Add PT Coins” section informs you for how you may use your PriveTalk Coins (PT Coins) when using our app. The three available options to use PT coins are the following:

Flirt with style by starting a conversation with a specially delivered virtual gift.

  • Start More Chats Everyday

Settings

The Settings menu found at the Main PriveTalk menu is identical the one you can find while being on your profile and clicking at the gear icon at the top right corner of your profile circle.

On your Settings Menu there are the following main categories of settings:

The log out button gives our users the option to sign out, in case they don’t want to automatically sign in the next time they will launch our app.
